I believe these were issued to my late father who served in the German Navy during World War II. Knowing nothing about binoculars, I would say these are fully functioning and in overall very excellent condition. The lenses are clear and there are sun goggles in the case. The inside of the leather case shows more wear than the outside. All straps are in place where they should be! Please see pictures . Specifics: CARL ZEISS JENA 6 X 30 1499825 (based on this number I think the binos were made between 1930-1936).
